The Gallery System Clearline droppers are a filament style dropper with a 1.4mm diameter for ‘The Gallery System’; they are a high quality yet economical option.

Things to consider

Compatible Hooks

These droppers are compatible with the Standard Adjustable Hooks for The Gallery System only.  Adjustment of these hooks is achieved with the Allen Key included.  This will require the art to be completely removed while adjustment is made, something which may or may not be relevant given the environment in which they will be used.

Using these droppers

These droppers can be added anywhere along the track without the need to insert them from one end.

The Gallery System

What is included?

The pack contains ten pre-cut Clear Line droppers, each 2 metres long and approximately 1.2mm in diameter.

What is the working load?

Each Clear Line dropper is rated to 8kg. The selected hook may impose a lower limit.

Which hooks are compatible?

Use Gallery System Mini Hooks for Allen/hex-key adjustment (up to 8kg per pair) or Gallery System Clearline Push Button Hooks for tool-free adjustment (up to 6kg per pair). Gallery System Standard Adjustable Hooks do not grip Clear Line.

Can Clear Line droppers be inserted anywhere?

Yes. Their track slides can be inserted at any point without feeding them in from an open end.

Is Clear Line suitable for precisely aligned exhibitions?

The filament may stretch slightly under load. Galleries aligning many pieces very precisely should compare it with Stainless Steel droppers.
