Picture Rail Hooks

When you hold these beautifully crafted picture rail hangers, you’ll know you’ve made the right decision. Their quality reflects the care you have for your home and the artwork, photographs and mirrors you choose to display.

Our substantial, well-proportioned picture rail hooks are designed to fit most Victorian-style picture rails measuring approximately 25 mm × 67 mm. Each hanger includes a 2-metre suspension line with an adjustable hook, allowing you to position your artwork at the desired height. You can also hang more than one piece from a single picture rail hanger, provided the total load remains within the product’s weight rating.

Choose between two suspension options:

• Stainless steel wire: 1.2 mm-diameter braided stainless steel wire, available with standard adjustable hooks or push-button hooks. Each wire is rated to hold up to 20 kg.
• Clear line: 1.4 mm filament cord for a discreet appearance, available with mini hooks or push-button hooks. Clear-line hangers are rated to hold up to 8 kg with mini hooks and up to 6 kg with push-button hooks.

As a further testament to their quality, our brass picture rail hangers are clear-coated to help prevent tarnishing.

Always select the appropriate hanger and suspension line for the weight of the item being displayed, and do not exceed the stated load rating.

What do I require?

If starting with nothing we recommend purchasing the picture rail hooks in ‘starter bundles’ which also include the height adjustable hooks to hold the artwork.  Should you already have some components, everything can be ordered individually on the individual components page which can be accessed using the green button towards the top right hand side of this page.
