What matters when buying individual components
Each hanger-and-wire pack contains five picture rail hangers and five 2 metre braided stainless steel wire droppers. Artwork hooks are sold separately in packs of ten.
Choose the adjustment style
Standard Hooks adjust with the included Allen/hex key. Push Button Hooks are much quicker and easier to reposition and can be adjusted one-handed behind the artwork.

The figures shown are the rated capacity per stainless steel wire dropper. The lower-rated component determines the capacity of the completed hanger, dropper and hook combination. The picture rail, its wall fixing and the framed piece must also be suitable for the intended load.

Designed to fit most picture rails
Our hangers have broad compatibility with traditional Victorian-style picture rail mouldings.
The internal hanger dimensions are approximately 25mm deep × 67mm high. The hanger can also suit some profiles larger than these stated dimensions because the shape of the moulding affects how it seats.
Sometimes the best way to confirm the fit is to try the hangers on your own moulding. We encourage you to order and test them; if they do not fit, send them back and we will happily refund your purchase under our satisfaction guarantee.

Do the hanger packs include artwork hooks?
No. The brass and stainless steel hanger packs include five picture rail hangers and five 2 metre stainless steel wire droppers. Adjustable artwork hooks are purchased separately in packs of ten.
Which hooks work with the stainless steel wire droppers?
Choose Gallery System Standard Adjustable Hooks or Gallery System Push Button Hooks. Both are rated to 20kg on compatible stainless steel wire, subject to the picture rail and its fixing.
Why are there ten hooks but only five hangers and droppers?
The hanger-and-wire packs contain five suspension lines, while each hook pack contains ten hooks. The remaining hooks can be kept for later or used for additional artworks on a line, provided the combined load stays within the rating.
When should I choose a complete bundle instead?
A bundle is simpler when starting from scratch because it includes five rail hangers, five droppers and five matching artwork hooks in one pack. The individual components above are intended mainly for customers who already own part of the system and need to add, replace or expand selected components.
Can I use either hook style with brass or stainless hangers?
Yes. The finish applies to the hanger at the rail. Hook compatibility is determined by the stainless steel wire dropper, so either listed hook style can be used with either hanger pack.
What do I require?
If starting with nothing we recommend purchasing the picture rail hooks in ‘starter bundles’ which also include the height adjustable hooks to hold the artwork. Should you already have some components, all the items can be order individually. Please note the above picture hanging hooks do not include adjustable hooks to hold the art work. These will need to be purchased separately.
