The track provides the permanent fixing point. Droppers attach to the track and move horizontally; hooks attach to the droppers and adjust vertically. Together they make changing a display much simpler.

Can the Slimline Art Hanging System be installed on all wall surfaces?

The Slimline system can be installed on most common wall surfaces, including plasterboard, timber, brick and masonry, provided the correct fixings are used for the wall material. The track can usually accommodate minor variations in a reasonably flat wall. Substantially uneven or curved walls may require individual assessment before installation.

How much weight can the Slimline Art Hanging System hold?

The capacity depends on the droppers and compatible hooks you choose. The strongest Slimline option uses stainless steel droppers and can support up to 14 kg per dropper, or up to 28 kg when an artwork is correctly hung from two droppers with compatible hooks and the load is shared between them. Can I install the Slimline Art Hanging System myself?

Yes. The Slimline Art Hanging System can be successfully installed by a confident DIY installer or experienced handyperson.

Should I choose the Slimline or Gallery Art Hanging System?

For most homes, offices, cafes and similar commercial spaces, the Slimline system is usually the best choice. Its smaller track profile and fine droppers provide a discreet appearance while still offering substantial hanging capacity. The Gallery system is better suited to applications requiring greater load capacity or integrated gallery lighting, although its track has a larger profile on the wall. Unless you need one of those specific Gallery features, Slimline will generally provide the neater and more appropriate solution.

Can I see the system before ordering a full installation?

Yes. The Slimline sample kit lets you see, handle and try the key components before committing to a full system. There is a modest upfront charge, but this is credited against a future system purchase, so the sample kit effectively costs nothing if you proceed.
